We are thrilled to have Jesse Dooley, a lay person and Eucharistic Minister at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in East Greenwich, RI. Jesse is also the group facilitator of two Facebook groups: Progressive Christian Mysticism, and Progressive Christians for Progressive Muslims. Jesse is very progressive. Riliage –

Jesse is angry about the vague, broad, ideas of social influences and the ways in which race and privilege plays into how people live. It is broad and vague, but also pertinent and important to be aware of these things and to get angry of the injustice of the systems and structures. Jesse is going “meta” with his rage.

Jonathan is angry about Package Disney Vacation Clubs and the notion that good families go to Disney and good parents will take their kids to Disney and success in life is found by enjoying Disney vacations. There must be more to life than Disney.

Matthew 14:22-33 – Jesus walks on water and Peter just cannot find the faith to stay with him. But doubt can be a good thing.

Watcha’ Into

Jesse is a well-read individual cracking open the classics old and recent. He is currently reading Ron Chernow’s book on Alexander Hamilton and enjoying it.

Jonathan is into the sadly canceled television show Parks and Recreation – a nice, safe, feel good show.
